Building the Future of Recreation, One Branch at a Time.

Friends of the Conway Branch Rail Trail (formerly Friends of the Ossipee Rail Trail) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing the Conway Branch Recreational Rail Trail — a 21-mile corridor connecting Ossipee, Tamworth, Madison, Albany, and Conway.

What started a decade ago as an Ossipee Economic Development Council effort to revitalize Ctr. Ossipee's downtown has grown into a regional recreation path operated by NH State Parks. Our Board now includes representatives from neighboring towns, and our membership reaches enthusiasts far beyond the region.

In 2026, we changed our name to reflect our commitment to advocating for, building, and maintaining the entire corridor. Together with our partners and stakeholders, we're making the Conway Branch a true four-season, multi-use regional connector.
